1. Introduction
This privacy policy governs your use of the software application CPlayer ("Application") for mobile devices created by CODASTA. CPlayer is a powerful, high-performance media player and storage explorer designed for seamless video playback, audio management, and offline media browsing.
2. Information Collection and Media Permissions
The Application does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal identifiable information. All media storage permissions (such as video, audio, image access, and file management) are strictly used locally on your device to discover media files, display thumbnails, read subtitles, and play content. No media or files are ever uploaded to any external server.
3. Network Streaming and Foreground Services
When using network streaming features, the Application directly connects to the user-provided stream URL to fetch and buffer media. We do not log, track, or monitor your playback history. Foreground services are utilized solely to keep audio/video playback active in the background, provide notification controls, and maintain smooth background operations.
4. Third-Party Services and Advertising
The Application may integrate third-party services (such as Google Play Services or AdMob) which may collect non-personal device identifiers in accordance with their privacy policies to deliver necessary platform services or advertisements.
5. Data Security
We value your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy. Since all media operations and file indexing take place locally on your device, your private files remain completely under your control.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
